Andrew Krugly’s abilities are unparalleled
When you choose Andrew Krugly as your education consultant, you’re choosing a professional with over 25 years of hands-on experience in both early childhood and K-5 education.
Andrew has significantly raised CLASS scores in numerous early childhood programs, and virtually closed achievement gaps between minority and non-minority students by increasing the number of students meeting or exceeding state standards in reading on the ISAT (Illinois State Achievement Test) by over 20%. There were similar results in math, and the overall achievement gap closed by nearly 45% between 2002 and 2010 under his supervision.
Through the in-depth understanding and extensive experiences with all three tiers of PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports), Andrew led his school to become a model school and one of only a few schools in Illinois to reach the “Exemplar” status. Following the success he achieved in his school, Andrew was asked to share his expertise as a co-keynote speaker at the PBIS Winter Leadership Conference, spoke at the National PBIS Leadership Forum, presented during a Legislative Briefing in Washington DC for H. R. 3407 (Positive Behavior for Effective Schools Act), and was the featured speaker during the NAESP Summer Leadership Institute.
Andrew has used these same strategies in working with children with challenging behaviors in early childhood programs.
As a born leader himself, Andrew draws upon his theatrical background to inspire and motivate peers and colleagues. As the Vice President of Education and Program Operations Andrew has mentored and coached numerous leaders working in early childhood, Head Start, and Early Head Start program. Andrew was also an Administrative Leadership Coach in Evanston, IL, as well as a Mentor/Leadership Coach for the National RtI Action Network directing online Webinars and Chat sessions for the RtI community.
Andrew spent 17 years of his career as a leader in not only his school, but the entire district he worked in. During the last 6 years Andrew has worked with teachers in early childhood, Head Start and Early Head Start. He understands teachers, their challenges and their professional goals. And with that understanding he is able to connect with your staff and teach them how to achieve, excel and influence through personal training and development. Andrew also invests in future teachers. He has accepted speaking invitations for education classes at National Lewis University, Roosevelt University and Columbia College.
